Student Ministry Update

Dear Church Family,

We wanted to give you an update on the current status of our student ministry since Drew Hall stepped down from the leadership role in September. 

We are fortunate to have a solid group of adults who are committed to being a part of the leadership team for this ministry. Because of their faithfulness and dedication, the student ministry has not skipped a beat. 

Our current leadership team includes Joe Brothers, Bonita Gomez, Staci & Daniel Henson, Jill King, and Stephanie Wright. 

Our goal is to help the Student Ministry build a healthy and sustainable process and approach under the leadership of the ministry team. We will together establish some short-term and long-term goals and a strategy for implementing them, aiming for spiritual growth and strength in our students. With this foundation, whomever the Lord may have in mind to lead in the future and whatever timeframe He may have in identifying them, the ministry will be strong and stable. We are fortunate that we don’t have to rush in this process. 

We are so excited that the Lord has also blessed us by raising up three young couples from our church family to help in leading and providing support to the students: Dustin & Katie Rosser, Colby & Ashley Gilchrist, and Shane & Ryan Lancaster. 

The strongest student ministries are those that have a solid team of adults who invest in the students and work together to make everything happen. Equally important are the prayers and encouragement of the rest of the church family, so please be in prayer for all of us as we seek the Lord’s will and direction for the students.
